Here in Scotland we are fortunate to have access to some of the best Haemophilia services and treatments in the world.
However, around the world 70% of people with a bleeding disorder don’t have access to any or adequate treatment. We are working with a brand new patient association in Malawi to help them advocate for improvements in care. To mark World Haemophilia Day we are organising a fantastic fundraising walk in Glasgow on 25th April. All the money you raise will go to help us support our friends in Malawi.
If you’d like to know more about bleeding disorders in Malawi you can find out what happened when Susan and Joan visited last year.
