Thanks to all of you, it has been a wonderful year for our events and support activities programme! Since the start of 2016, we have held 13 members events, with a total of 408 attendees! Public awareness events have gone very well too. We took our Blood Doctor Mystery crime scene to 3 Science Festival events, which had a total reach of 1579 attendees. A very positive review of our crime scene appeared in The Lancet, and we have been asked to be one of the events at the Edinburgh International Festival’s Science hub at Summerhall in 2017. And let’s not forget the valiant team of us that braved the wind and rain to represent Haemophilia Scotland at the Riding Down the Royal Mile!
Our new events programme is winging its way out to you, but if you can’t wait, here is a preview events-2017. The first event is for our women’s group on 22nd January, and more info can be found here.
If you have not been to an event this year, we hope to see you soon. Everyone is welcome, events are free of charge and we can help with travel costs and accessibilty. If you would like to chat before coming along to an event or have any questions, get in touch with Emma on 0131 281 0857 or firstname.lastname@example.org (or via facebook). We would love to see you in 2017.
Wishing you a happy christmas and all the best for 2017!
