We’ve had a huge response to advert to recruit a Project Coordinator to organise and manage our exciting new pilot initiative that will provide a Personal Mentoring Service to families in the Glasgow area affected by a bleeding condition.
The standard of applicants has been extremely high and we are looking forward to the upcoming interviews.
The Co-ordinator will be involved in recruiting, training and supporting four volunteer mentors and parent mentees, as well as evaluating and reporting on the project. This is a pilot programme, and if successful we would hope to have it adopted nationwide, subject to further funding.
This pilot project is supported by the Self Management Impact Fund.
