Scottish Ministers have recently laid the Disability Assistance for Working Age People (Scotland) Regulations 2022 and accompanying documents in Parliament. These regulations will support the introduction of Adult Disability Payment.
Adult Disability Payment will be the twelfth Scottish benefit overall and the second of three complex disability benefits to be delivered by Social Security Scotland, following the Child Disability Payment which was rolled out nationally in November 2021.
