New online Self-Management Service for children and young people

Children’s Health Scotland launched a new online Self-Management Service (SMS) for children and young people with long-term health conditions – SMS:CONNECT. back in June and they’ve already had two successful intakes.

They are now OPEN TO REFERRALS for their next Programmes which will run from mid-September to the end of October.

They aim to support children and young people to access information, develop skills and
connect with others to help build confidence and cope with their condition.

Their online programmes are not condition specific and are designed for children aged
10-12 and young people aged 13-17. Programmes run for six weeks on a safe, online platform, and they include fun activities, games and challenges. The service also includes a supported Hub where you can connect with friends you have met on the programme.

Visit their website for more information and to self-refer.
