Events

In this section you can find out about upcoming events.  You can also read reports from some of the events we have run in the past so you can find out a bit more about what to expect.

Almost all our events are free to members and we aim to run a wide enough variety of events that whatever your age, bleeding disorder, or location, there is something for everyone.  We can usually help with the costs of travel as well.

Teen Driving Lesson. Knockhill Racing Circuit, 20 April, 12:30pm-5:30pm

This event is for teenagers aged 13-17 affected by a bleeding disorder.
This event is FREE for members of Haemophilia Scotland.
The non-member fee is £75.00.

Living with a bleeding disorder doesn’t mean your ability to travel has to be restricted.

The transitioning from child care to adult care is such a critical time in the life of someone affected by a bleeding disorder.

The transition process is all about self management and care and becoming independent and responsible.

The purpose of this event is to equip teenagers with the confidence to drive which can open up a whole range of possibilities for them and put them on a path to being independent, young adults.

12:30pm: Meet for lunch (provided)
1:20pm: Driving course.
5:30pm: Finish

Due to the nature of the event, there are 16 spaces available on a first come, first served basis.
