Go Ape: Monkey Around – Sat 10th October

Recently, many of our events have been for young families or older people.

We thought it would be a good idea to give some of the younger adults with bleeding disorders a chance to come together.

Life can be pretty busy once you leave home and start work or study.  Some people have young families too and it can be hard to find time to catch up with other people with a bleeding disorder.

That’s why, with the generous support of Pfizer Ltd, we have organised Go Ape: Monkey Around.

The point of the day is to give you a chance to catch up with people you might not have seen for years or just get to meet other people with bleeding disorders who are roughly the same age as you.

The focus of the day will be on having a good time but there will be a chance to exchange tips on staying fit and active with a bleeding disorder and to hear from specialist physiotherapists.

The day is aimed at younger adults, so there isn’t a strict age range.  However, we’d expect it to be of most interest to people between 18 and their mid-30s.  You have to be older than 16 tot take part.  Partners are also welcome on the day.

We’ll be at the Go Ape in Aberfoyle, but if you need help getting there then please let us know.

We will be on the course at 1pm but the day you will need to be able to get to their by 12noon.

Places are limited so please sign up straight away if you are interest.
