We’d love as many of our members as possible to be able to take advantage of the fact that the World Federation of Hemophilia Congress will be in Glasgow, Sun 20th to Thu 24th May 2018. This is the biggest conference about bleeding disorders in the world and this might be the only chance many people in Scotland have to attend. Experts on all aspects of bleeding disorders will be travelling to Scotland and presenting a wide variety of papers on the very latest research.
To make it as easy as possible for Haemophilia Scotland members to attend we are planning to hold our AGM in a Glasgow hotel on Sat 19th. We hope to raise enough money so that we can provide hotel rooms for those who are registered at both our AGM and the WFH Congress. To do that we really need your help to estimate numbers.
We understand that it is too early for most people to commit to attending. However, we’d love to know if you would be interested in taking part. If you could complete this short form then we’d be very grateful.
Provisional agenda
Fri 18th – Those travelling a long way can arrive the night before the AGM.
Sat 19th – Haemophilia Scotland Gathering Conference and AGM. Followed by our Conference Dinner.
Sun 20th – Haemophilia Scotland Gathering Conference until lunchtime. After lunch people would move over to the SEC for the WFH Congress.
Mon 21st to Thu 24th – Attending the WFH Congress at the SEC.
NB There is often a Congress Dinner on the last night of the WFH Congress. Haemophilia Scotland are not planning to provide tickets or an additional night of accommodation for people wanting to attend.
