GLASGOW

Glasgow City Hospitals with Glasgow City Residents

The Money Advice Service is provided by the Long Term Conditions and Macmillan Service. They can do a home visit if required.  They currently provide in reach to the following hospitals:

  • Queen Elizabeth University Hospital – Mondays
  • Stobhill Hospital – Wednesday’s (shared with East Dunbartonshire CAB)
  • Victoria Hospital – Wednesday

The in reach is provided in the Support and Information Services within the Atrium of these hospitals. They are staffed full time by a Health Improvement member of staff.

Brownlee Centre for HIV

The Terrance Higgins Trust provide 2 x 0.5 days in reach in the Centre on Tuesdays & Wednesdays

Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre

Service runs 5 days per week on the ground floor of the Cancer Centre on the Gartnavel Campus.

Royal Hospital for Children

Runs 5 days per week, based within Family Support and Information Service on the ground floor.  They will see anyone who is an inpatient or regularly attending outpatients at the hospital.  Or contact by calling 0141 445 7617 or email RHC.MoneyAdviceService@ggc.scot.nhs.uk

Vale of Leven Hospital

In reach to Haematology Clinic by West  Dunbartonshire Council ‘Working for U – Money Advice’.

Royal Alexandra Hospital- Paisley

No in reach provision at present however Renfrewshire Council does have a service and patients can self-refer or staff can make a referral to Renfrewshire Advice Works.  This can be done by going to:  http://www.renfrewshire.gov.uk/article/3525/Advice-Works-drop-in-and-appointment-service
