We are excited to be launching two new projects for you today!
These projects have been designed to make it easier for people to support one another and to help anyone who wants to get more active to take the next step. They are in response to what you told us in the Needs Assessment and when you’ve given us your ideas on feedback forms. We hope you are as excited about these as we are!
The Haemophilia Scotland Pairing Project is a buddy programme for people affected by a bleeding disorder to connect you with support and information through mentoring-style pairing relationships.
To celebrate the launch of our Pairing Project, we’ve produced a quiz of famous duos. The first 3 people to answer all questions correctly will win a prize. Take part in the quiz now!
The Haemophilia Scotland Self-Management Project aims to ensure that people affected by haemophilia and other rare bleeding disorders are fully supported in self-managing their condition, enabling you to develop an improved quality of life.
We’ve received feedback from members suggesting we arrange a walking football event. We’ve listened to your feedback and have been in touch with walking football clubs in Glasgow and Edinburgh who would love to have us along.
