If you treat yourself at home then your Haemophilia Centre will ask you to keep a record of when you use products and why.

It is extremely important that these records are kept up to date and regularly returned you your Haemophilia Centre.

The sheets can be useful for lots of reasons.

  1. So that your Haemophilia Centre Team can see if there are any unusual treatment patterns which might indicate a problem they could help with.
  2. So that in the unlikely event that there is a problem with any batch of product your Haemophilia Centre can know exactly where all the effected batches are.
  3. So that when you come in for review your Haemophilia Centre knows what sort of problems you’ve been having with your bleeding disorder.
  4. So that your Centre can make the appropriate financial and usage reports to allow proper scrutiny of the service.

At most Haemophilia Centres you can submit paper Home Home Treatment Record Sheet or you can use the Haemtrack system to submit them electronically.
