On 19 November 2025, the UK Infected Blood Memorialisation Committee will host an Infected Blood commemorative event at Church House, London to bring together those infected and affected, and to gather ideas on priorities for a national memorial to remember victims of the infected blood scandal.
The Committee has asked us to share the registration link so as many people as possible can take part. The form includes an option to attend virtually for those unable to travel.
Haemophilia Scotland plans to attend in person to represent our members and to share the progress made towards establishing a Scottish Memorial, following the dedicated work and fundraising efforts of the Infected Blood Memorial Working Group over the past nine years.
The deadline to register is Monday 22 September.
You can find the registration form, both for in-person and virtual attendance, here.
This is the first event following the recommendation of the Infected Blood Inquiry, with a service of remembrance being considered as the next national event in May 2026, marking the second anniversary of the Inquiry’s Final Report’s publication.
