Glasgow Adults Centre

Message from Adult’s Haemophilia Centre, Royal Infirmary Glasgow, about the impact of the coronavirus lockdown.

As part of the contingency to manage the COVID-19 outbreak, all routine appointments at the Haemophilia Centre are now cancelled until at least the end of May 2020.  Our doctors will still be looking at each weekly clinic list and if they feel it necessary, will contact you by telephone.  An appointment to replace your cancelled one will be posted out to you in due course.

Please remember that although these clinics are cancelled, the Haemophilia Centre staff are still here to answer any queries or discuss any problems you may have in relation to your bleeding disorder.  All we would ask is that you contact the Centre by telephone (0141 211 4840/5127) in the first instance and do not just turn up.

We would also ask that you contact us if you have bleeding symptoms, a planned surgical procedure or if you become pregnant before you are due to be seen at your next appointment.

We thank you for your co operation at what is a difficult time for us all.
