🎙Guest Speakers: Hear from healthcare professionals and advocates who raise awareness of women & girls affected by a bleeding disorder.
Dr Laura Knox is a Haematology Registrar based in Glasgow with a special interest in bleeding disorders. She is passionate about improving access to menstrual health care and serves as Vice Chair of HaemSTAR, a trainee-led research network across the UK. Her research focuses on women’s health, with a particular emphasis on menstrual health in those living with bleeding disorders.
Kat Peddie is the current Chair of the Scottish charity Endo SoS, supporting women with endometriosis across the South of Scotland.
After waiting over 15 years for a diagnosis, Kat is determined that women and girls should not have to wait for a diagnosis and advocates for better education of doctors, increased visibility and understanding from workplaces and greater public awareness.
