A Huge Thank You from the Haemophilia Scotland Striders!
We’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone who supported the Haemophilia Scotland Striders at the Edinburgh Kiltwalk on Sunday! Your kind words of encouragement and generous donations really kept us going on the 21 mile walk – even when we started to feel a little achy!
It was all for a great cause, and we’re so proud to be raising funds to support those affected by bleeding disorders in Scotland. For those who donated to support Bill Wright, please note that your contributions will be split between Haemophilia Scotland and the British Liver Trust, two causes close to his heart. Just a wee reminder that if you are donating to support Bill, to please leave a comment so we can track how much he has raised.
If you haven’t had a chance to donate yet, the fundraising page will remain open until Thursday 19th September, so it’s not too late! You can donate here: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/haemophiliascotlandstriders2024. Please share the fundraiser with your network of family and friends to help us continue with our efforts to support, inform and advocate for Scotland’s bleeding disorders community.
To date, the total amount raised (incl. gift aid) is £6,540.96. This will be split so £2,587.35 will go to the British Liver Trust and £3,953.61 to Haemophilia Scotland. We still have some final donations coming in so these figures will change.
Thank you again for being part of this amazing journey with us – we couldn’t have done it without your incredible support!
