Latest IBCA Newsletter: Update on Initial Claims

The latest newsletter from the Infected Blood Compensation Authority (IBCA) was published yesterday and includes an update on the progress of the initial compensation claims. It also details plans to invite a further small group of individuals to apply for compensation before the end of the year.

The newsletter, available here, also explains more on letters being sent out to Infected Blood Support Scheme (IBSS) recipients. These letters explain the information currently held by the schemes and what they would like to share with IBCA to save support scheme beneficiaries time when completing their own claim.

The IBCA has committed to providing monthly newsletters with important updates and news. If you have not already, you can subscribe to receive these newsletters directly by going to the following page and clicking on the “Get emails” icon and completing a few steps. Their bulletins are also available on the Infected Blood Compensation Authority website, with their new website expected to launch sometime before the end of this year.
