Our Submission to UK Government’s public consultation on Infected Blood Compensation Scheme

Last week, Haemophilia Scotland submitted our response to the UK Government’s recent public consultation on proposed changes to the Infected Blood Compensation Scheme.

Listening to our community is central to our work. Feedback shared by our members played an important role in shaping our response, helping to ensure that the views, concerns and lived experiences of people affected by bleeding disorders in Scotland were clearly reflected. Our submission also builds on the organisation’s long-standing position on the issues covered by the consultation and our ongoing advocacy in this area.

You can read our full submission here.

We would like to thank everyone who took the time to share their views through the questionnaire circulated by us last month. Your contributions help ensure that our community’s key concerns are heard and represented at a national level.
