This morning, the Infected Blood Inquiry announced that its Additional Report on Compensation will be published at 12:30pm on Wednesday 09 July 2025.
The report will be available on the Inquiry website. However, Inquiry participants will have early access to the report that morning under a Restriction Order. Further details on how to access the report early will be shared by email from the Inquiry closer to the time.
At 12.30pm once the restriction is lifted, Sir Brian Langstaff, Chair of the Inquiry, will deliver a short statement at the publication event at Westminster Chapel. His remarks will also be broadcast live on the Inquiry’s YouTube channel.
Anyone wishing to attend the event in person are asked to register in advance. A registration form and further details are available in the Inquiry’s news article and accompanying fact sheet which is available here.

While I welcome this additional intervention I’m not convinced that the report, even if it’s critical, will prompt any improvement in the current claims process.
