Did you know this week is National Student Money Week?
Social Security Scotland has widened eligibility so that more unpaid carers in education can get financial support.
If you are looking after someone who gets a disability benefit for 35 hours a week or more, you might be able to get Carer Support Payment whilst you’re studying if you are:
- over 16 and studying part-time
- over 20 and studying full-time
- aged 16 to 19 and studying full-time on certain courses
