Retiral of Dr Alvi from Glasgow Haemophilia Centre

The Glasgow Adult Haemophilia Centre is sad to announce the retiral of its Associate Specialist, Dr Alvi. After nearly 20 years of service at the Centre, he has decided it’s time to hang up his stethoscope for a well-earned rest and time with his family.

The Haemophilia Centre is planning a retirement party to celebrate his retiral on Friday 2nd February at 11:30am -2:00pm. All are welcome at the Haemophilia unit.

A collection is also under way for Dr Alvi as well. Contributions towards the collection can be handed in at the unit.

  1. Sorry to hear Arif is retiring as he has always been very helpful and amiable whenever I’ve attended my reviews in Glasgow. He deserves more time with his family but will definitely be missed.
