Inquiry plans to hold further hearings in July

Yesterday the Infected Blood Inquiry announced their plans to hold further hearings about the Government’s response to the use of infected blood and blood products and on the matter of compensation.

This statement confirmed that the Inquiry had used its powers to request further statements from Government officials following appeals from core participants to do so.

The hearings are scheduled to take place in the week of 24th July and the Inquiry will be publishing a timetable with registration instructions to attend on the 4th July. This and other news from the Inquiry is available here.
