A Chance to Connect

Overview

An informal get-together for the infected blood community to see familiar faces and make new connections.

‘A chance to connect’ is an opportunity for anyone infected or affected by infected blood to come together in Edinburgh.

Held in partnership with Haemophilia Scotland and The Haemophilia Society, we hope it will offer a welcoming space to meet others with shared experiences and feel connected to the wider community. There’ll be food, tea and coffee, and time to enjoy a conversation. You’re welcome to take part in whatever way feels comfortable for you.

There’s no expectation to share your story.

Members from both organisations will be there for informal chats about their current advocacy and community outreach, and what more we can do to support the community. Whether you’d like to ask questions, catch up with familiar faces or simply sit with a cuppa, we’d be glad to welcome you.
