“I have been utterly overwhelmed and humbled by the many messages of support and goodwill following my inclusion in the New Years Honours List.
Thank you to each and every one who has posted and/or sent such kind words.
While I am grateful to accept the honour, my primary wish remains that action is taken following the completion of the IBI and its recommendations are acted upon in full by Government. That has yet to happen. A new direction is needed.
For today however I welcome the warmth that we share in our community with humility and wish good health for everyone in 2025.”
