We are delighted to announce the launch of our new comic book, a powerful collection of personal stories from people across Scotland affected by bleeding disorders.
This latest edition shares the voices of individuals living with a bleeding disorder, as well as carers, parents, and siblings. Through their experiences, the comic book captures the realities of day-to-day life, the challenges faced, and the strength of community and support.
Just like our first comic book, published in 2023, this new edition will be a valuable resource for families, friends, schools, and extra-curricular groups. By sharing these stories in a creative and accessible way, we hope to raise awareness and deepen understanding of what it means to live with a bleeding disorder.
We owe a huge thank you to Paul and his team at Magic Torch for hosting the workshops and doing a magnificent job of capturing everyone’s stories and transforming them into a comic book. Their talent and creativity have helped turn lived experience into an engaging resource that will reach people of all ages.
This is the second in our comic book series, and we are proud to continue amplifying the voices of our community in new and meaningful ways.
