On 19 May, the Infected Blood Memorial Service was held to remember and honour all those affected by the infected blood scandal. The service brought together individuals, families, organisations and supporters from across the UK for what was a very moving and reflective occasion.
The event provided an opportunity to remember those who have been lost, recognise the experiences of those living with the impact of infected blood, and to reflect on the importance of ensuring this should never happen again.
